Who we are

Born in the family kitchen in 2006, Kitz Living Foods has flourished into a thriving business. Fully HACCP certified, we are a family-owned, eco-conscious team of food lovers who are zealous about bringing healthy, delicious plant-based alternatives into your life. Owners Mandy and Scott, together with their children Aila and Rowan, are always having fun concocting new products for our ever-growing range.

Simple. No artificial anything, ever. We strive to create highly nutritious food that enhances life through great health and great taste...and as always, we prepare it for you with love!

What we do

At Kitz Living Foods, we hand-craft a large range of premium, plant-based, grain-free organic snack foods for the thoughtful eater. All our products are lovingly hand-made in our kitchen in the beautiful Tweed Valley nestled between Byron Bay and the Gold Coast, located in Northern New South Wales. We specialize in snacks that meet the strict requirement of vegans, raw foodies and allergy sufferers, yet are still delicious even if you don’t have any dietary restrictions. Many of our products are also suitable for those following a paleo, ketogenic, low-carb or Ayurvedic diet. Always playing with new ingredients, our range is constantly expanding to meet the needs of our customers and changing market demand.

Allergens

All of our products are free from: gluten, grains, wheat, dairy, yeast, eggs, soy, peanuts, sesame, fish, shellfish, and refined sugar. We do use tree nuts, but not all of our products contain them.

Raw & Activated

All our nuts and seeds are soaked overnight in filtered water to ‘activate’ the ingredients, breaking down the naturally-present enzyme inhibitors like phytic acid, making them easier to digest. Then, we slowly dehydrate all our creations at 47°C or less so they remain ‘alive and raw’. This is our way of ensuring your body is getting maximum nutrition from our products.

Our Environmental Commitment

We’re green and we’re proud! Our factory is powered exclusively by 100% renewable energy and all our retail packaging is compostable. Ingredients are always sourced locally when in season and/or available.

Fresh

We manufacture our products weekly and only carry a small inventory of finished product to ensure our customers receive the freshest stock possible. All our products are manufactured with a 9-12 month shelf life and are designed to be stored at normal room temperature.
