Bio Organic Farm is a certified organic fruit and vegetable farm which was started in the early 2000s by Avi and Zehavit Mishtler. Recently they have handed over the reins to the younger generation.

After 16 years of growing and learning about the best organic farming techniques for their produce their son Oogie and his partner Shyamli (Basil) are now taking the lead on the farm. Their point of difference is their unique greenhouse growing techniques used for a large range of their fruit and vegies.

Their produce taste so much better than mass produced vegies grown on a large monoculture farm because they are organic. Not only is organic produce better for you, it is proven to taste better too. On average, organic produce has 43% higher concentrations of antioxidants. Translation: the organic eater consumes the antioxidant equivalent of approximately two extra produce portions every day, without altering food intake.

We hear the word ‘organic’ so much it almost becomes uncertain! But what does it actually mean for your food? Organic produce is the confidence of knowing exactly how it was grown, where it came from, and how it reached your table. There are no chemicals in our fruits and vegetables.
